Tiffany DiGenova

Health Director

My name is Tiffany DiGenova and I have been with YPDC for over eight years and I am looking forward to another great year at camp. I have always enjoyed being a camp counselor and working with children; before my position at YPDC. I worked at the South Shore's YMCA as a counselor, swim instructor, lifeguard and water aerobics director.

Currently I am a New York State public school teacher. During the school year I work as a first grade teacher. I am also a part-time mathematics, reading and ESL tutor. On weekends I work at a private dance studio as a dance instructor and gymnastics coach.

I have been a Red Cross certified Lifeguard for nearly eleven years; I also have Red Cross certifications in CPR, First-AID, Waterfront, RTE- Responding to Emergencies, and AED.

As a final note, I would like to say how much I enjoy being apart of the YPDC family. I look forward to seeing everyone again in July!

Division Leader

Hello Everyone! I am one of the Assistant Directors at Young People's Day Camp. I have worked at YPDC Central NJ for the last 8 years. I started as a counselor when I was 17, and I've been coming back ever since. I have always enjoyed summers at the camp. Working with the children and dedicated staff always makes every day enjoyable. Young People's has always been a fun and rewarding experience for me. During the year I work with Special Education students for the Department of Education. I am also the Head Coach of the New Dorp Central Cougars Junior Varsity Football Team.
